Serve as a role model and mentor to pre-teen girls! Are you interested in empowering girls? GENaustin is seeking motivated, energetic women to intern in our afterschool program for middle school girls. clubGEN is a weekly afterschool program designed to help equip middle school girls with the skills and awareness they need to navigate the pressures of the teen years –with support from young adult role models and each other. Location: GENaustin Main Office at The Ann Richards School Reports to: clubGEN Program Manager Time Commitment: 10-15 hours a week; flexible Compensation: This is a volunteer intern position with college credit available. Graphic Design Intern |
The position of Graphic Designer will help support the clubGEN Program Team. Help create effective and fun marketing materials (flyers, brochures, postcards, book markers, etc.) for middle and high school girls that will be used for recruitment.

Program Research Assistant |
Purpose: The Program Research Assistant will conduct two major research projects for the GENaustin program department. One project will focuses on how to engage AISD PTAs; the other will inform the workshop program through a transition to a fee-based model. Location: GENaustin main office at the Ann Richards School Key Responsibilities:
Reports to: Conference and Workshop manager Length of Appointment: Ideally, the Workshop Volunteer Engagement Intern would serve for both the fall and spring semesters, but fall semester only is also acceptable. Recruitment Coordinator Internship |
Purpose: The Recruitment Coordinator Intern will assist the clubGEN Program Manager and clubGEN program team in creating and implementing unique and fun ways to reach out to students, teachers, parents and the community with the goal of getting as many girls involved in the clubGEN afterschool program as possible.
