clubGEN Videographer
The primary function of this role is getting footage of the activities that take place in clubGEN at various middle schools in Austin. clubGEN is a weekly, after-school, peer mentoring program that trains high school girls (facilitators) to be peer mentors for middle school girls (participants), engaging them in activities throughout the school year that promote self-esteem, resilience, confidence, and leadership. Additionally, the videoagrapher will need to do minimal editing of the footage to make sure it is effective and short. This person will need to supply their own equipment.
The minimum number of hours required for this position is 2.5 per
week. The maximum number of hours for this position is 10 per week.
Entrance Requirements
Ability to volunteer between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on at least one week day Monday through Thursday.
Ability to use one's own video equipment for shooting and editing footage.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.
Commitment to the goals and philosophies of GENaustin.
